"I'm going to try and get a closer look" said megan curiously.
"Okay, but be carefull" warned aqualad.

Suddenly a noise, like nails on a blackboard flooded the com link. Everyteam member fell to their knees in pain.

Wally looked over to see Artemis, walking, no stuggling to even move. He tried to follow her, not just because she was the nearest, and being alone in the dessert was dangerous, but because he cared about her. Superboy was invunerable, miss martian could just fly away, aqualad was strong and powerfull, robin had a utility belt and batman training that was deadlier than a blackbelt. Artemis had a bow, and if she for some reason lost it, she might be in trouble.
But really those were just excuses, he wanted to take care of her.

Wally waas in immense pain, the feeling of memories being teared and thrown away, birthdays, jokes,friends...one by one they were all going. It was like a child having their favouite teddy ripped form they're weak, helpless arms.
And wally realized that, if he was suffering this much, with his superhealing..then artemis must be alot worse.

He tried to move to her direction, she was holding her ears,and wimpering, not even moving. He swears if he saw her hold out her hand to reach for him...but then all memories of her...fighting about magic...first misson...the first time he laid eyes on her...where torn away.

"Artemis..." he managed to say before collapsing on the floor.
He sworn he heard he say "wally..no..." before he shut his mind from the current world.

Wally west awoke, where was he? He wondered why he was so tired? And he was shocked to see himself in black? He opened his eyes to see a beautiful blonde girl next to him, they're hands where touching, almost like they were holding hands. Why was he with her? Why was he here? Right now was a whole alot of WHY?

Wally's hyper accelerated metabolism was to blame for his rising...he was hungry.He knew the girl must be weaker than him, because even with his healing powers and all round fitness he was craving for water.

He picked up her motionless body, he places his ear to her chest, a heart beat. Phew.
He then ran, as fast as he could with no food, and the gourgeous deadweight in his arms.
He was mostly trying to think how they could survive, and how if they had to be alone, for along time, how he could charm her. He felt like a hero, he saved her life, what if he never found her and she dies of dehydration?

He saw a dot in the distance, in a few seconds he noticed it was a shack, wooden, old and it seemed to be totally abandoned. He at first, thought it might be a mirage, however when he felt the shade on his body, he did't care if it was or not, it was nice.

He lay her body on the floor, he did't want to put herdown, he debated keeping her head on his knees. Suddenly she began to murmer.

"Help" he thought she said. "Wally" The speedster was shocked,how did she know his secret identity? who was this mytery girl, 'am i sleeping?' he thought.

"Hey beautiful, wake up" he said quietly,making sure not to scare her.

"ummmff" she said as she opened her eyes. "Ahhh" she quickly got up and away form him.
'okay maybe she doesn't know me?' he thought.
"it's ok, i'm one of the good guys, you know kid flash!" he said.
"seen kid flash on the news..." they're was something familiar about her voice, the way she moved, he face,he expressions. "...he doesn't wear black."

"yeah, little unclear on that myslelf, what about you, green arrow fixation?" he wanted to know why the girl was wearing a mask, what identity did she need to protect? why had't he seen her before ifshe even was a hero.

"WHO PUT ME IN THIS?" she seemed angry.

"woah, i am not touching that with a ten foot...so you know how to use that bow?"

"yeah my dad taught me, dad! He must have done this another one of his stupid tests!"

"test uh, what kinda test?" He was shocked, she could sure be green arrows daughter, but The Flash tested him yeah, but leaving him in the desert, with just a bow, probally knocking him out first and leaving him they're, that's a little extreme.

"He proabally wants me to kill you" she said calmly.
'Okay, every theroy wall west had, just was gone. The first rule of being a hero. No deaths.

Wally was shocked, he was about to ask why but them he heard a....No....it's a BOMB!

No time to think, he grabbed her hand, if she wanted to kill him she would have done it by now. He tried to despritly to hold her hand but, the force of the bomb made them separate.

Tanks were closing in on them.
They were lying on the floor, he had one arm of her, it would't do much, but he was a hero, and heros did whatever they could to protect people.

They got up and ran, he could have raced ahead, been outta they're in five seconds flat. but how could he leave her? She kneeled behind a rock, drew an arrow.
Well that won't do much damage, he thought, but to his surprise,she hit the truck and it fell on it's side.

He decided not to let her just risk her life, so he ran to grab her. He picked her up. She felt alot stronger and seemed more toned than before; probally all thoose tests.

"Sorry they've got bigger arrows" wally said.

He dodged the bombs and ran as fast as he could.

"Thanks" she said.

"Hey, i told you, good guy, now not to pry but, uh, what's your name and what's this about you killing me?"

He ran round a rock, and into open desert.

"oh right, yeah, it's a long story, and um, my names artemis"

Suddenly kid flashes mind was flooded with the faint picture of her with him, but he'd never met him before? "Wall man huh?" the words echoed in his head. What?

"Hey!" she said, "dreamer boy, any ideas how we got here?"
